How to Stay Fit and Healthy in the Winter

Today, we will be focusing how to stay beautiful and fit in the winter.

Now if you are anything like me and are always cold in the winter (even though I live in Florida, which is not very cold at all by other countries standards!), it might be hard to even think about going outside to go running or walking.

So, here are some simple tips for keeping fit and healthy for those of us that freeze in the winter.

  1. Do your workouts in the morning. There are plenty of online workouts available on the internet, as well as video tutorials on YouTube. Use this as your advantage. My all time favorite workouts are Walk Away the Pounds, and Ballet Beautiful.
  2. Walk as much as you can. If it is sunny and not rainy try to fit at least 30 minutes of walking outside. Although you are doing indoor work.
  3. Eat as many greens and vegetables as you can. I love making vegetable soup during this time of year. Not only is it healthy, but it warms me up as well which is a plus.
  4. Drink herbal teas. Winter is a perfect time to drink herbal teas. Not only do these teas warm you up, they also provide antioxidants and nutrients to your body. My favorite tea is ginger tea, green tea, and Chai tea.
